Janina Tanner is a lifelong resident of Isola, MS. She is a 2002 graduate of Humphreys County High School. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (2007), a Master’s degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction (2009), and Specialist degree in Administration and Supervision(2016). She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Education degree from Belhaven University (ABD). She is the proud mother of one daughter, Ahkeyia. Ms. Tanner is embarking on her 15th year in her journey as a professional educator. Throughout her journey, she has served as an ELA teacher, lead teacher, and assistant principal.
